As part of the implementation of the Fundamentals of State Policy of the Russian Federation in the Arctic for the period up to 2035 and the Strategy for the Development of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (hereinafter - AZRF) and ensuring national security for the period up to 2035, a list of key settlements of the AZRF and corresponding proposals for the system of state policy measures have been developed. The AZRF Development Strategy defines the main directions of state policy in relation to such settlements - a comfortable urban environment, including one that takes into account climatic features, the introduction of innovative digital and technological solutions, support for housing construction, and the provision of high-quality social guarantees, medicine and education. In turn, the choice of the key settlements of the Russian Arctic makes it possible to improve the system of state policy measures in the field of national security and socio-economic development of the Russian Arctic in these areas, taking into account the limited resources and the need to prioritize public policy measures. The final meeting on the project "Innovative natural solutions for the use of shungite and EM technology for water purification (SHEM-WP)". The project is being implemented from 2019 to December 2021 within the framework of the ENI CBC "Russia – South-Eastern Finland" for the period 2014-2020. The aim of the project is to develop an innovative technology for stormwater and wastewater treatment with improving the quality of treatment of urban water bodies and other modern infrastructure facilities. This approach is aimed at creating a non-chemical water purification technology, combining two existing and applied technologies in Russia and Finland - shungite mineral and effective microorganisms. Within the framework of the round table, a presentation of the achieved results will be held and general project results will be summed up with thematic reports on each of the areas of activity.
