Research Data Infrastructure (RDI) is a platform for researchers that gives access to data about the state and society. There are 4 main goals for our project: to publish databases and data sets provided by government agencies, to provide legal and methodological tools for the publication of data, to promote the development of a community of researchers working with data in Russia and to provide technical capabilities for researchers to access and work with data. Interreg Baltic Sea Region

Interreg Baltic Sea Region is a unique funding programme that connects all the ten countries around the Baltic Sea: EU member states — Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden and the northern parts of Germany as well as partner countries — Norway and the northwest regions of Russia. It supports integrated territorial development and cooperation for a more innovative, better accessible and sustainable Baltic Sea Region.

Partners from these countries around the Baltic Sea work together in transnational projects on common key challenges and opportunities. Projects are supported through funds from the European Union, Norway and the Russian Federation.

South-East Finland – Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020

The Programme contributes to economic and social development, mitigate common challenges and promote mobility among actors of regional relevance to further improve cross-border cooperation and the sustainable prerequisites of the Programme area. Eligible programme area consist of the core regions South Karelia, South-Savo and Kymenlaakso in Finland and St. Petersburg and Leningrad region in Russia. Adjoining areas are Uusimaa, Päijät-Häme, North-Savo, North Karelia and Republic of Karelia. In addition to these, cities of Turku and Moscow may participate as a major economic and cultural center. Programme is offering funding in four thematic objectives.

 Karelia CBC Programme 2014-2020

"Karelia" CBC Programme implements activities that contribute to regional development with activities that have a clear cross-border dimension and cooperation nature. The overall Programme objective is to make the Programme area attractive for people to work and live and for businesses to locate and operate. Programme area includes three regions of Finland (Kainuu, North Karelia, Oulu region) and the Republic of Karelia in Russia. The adjoining regions are Lapland, South Karelia, North Savo and South Savo in Finland and Leningrad, Murmansk and Archangelsk in Russia. The Programme supports cooperation projects in four thematic objectives.

  Kolarctic CBC Programme 2014-2020

The overall aim of the Programme is to promote a viable economy and attractiveness of the region, where inhabitants and visitors come to enjoy the arctic nature and where natural resources are used in a sustainable way. The area covered by the Kolarctic CBC Programme comprises Lapland in Finland, Norrbotten in Sweden, Finnmark, Troms and Nordland in Norway and the Murmansk Region, the Arkhangelsk  Region and the Nenets Autonomous District in Russia. Adjoining regions: Oulu Region, Västerbotten, Republic of Karelia and the Republic of Komi. Partners from the adjoining regions and from the major social, economic and cultural centre (city of St. Petersburg) can participate in the Programme implementation as equal partners. The Programme supports cooperation projects in four thematic objectives.
