[2021-08-18] / International Ecological Art Festival "KronFest"
On August 27, at 12.00, a business game "Marine Spatial Planning. If I was the decision-maker!" will be held within the framework of the International Ecological Art Festival "KronFest". The aim of the game is to make the participants aware of the importance of using an ecosystem approach in planning the use of marine and coastal waters and the harmonization of economic activities. The players will discuss the problems of the Baltic Sea water area, taking into account the climatic and geographical features of the territory, population, ecological situation and the existing economy of the region.
At 16:30-19:00, an interregional round table "Integrated management of coastal territories of the Gulf of Finland. Current challenges and possible solutions" will be held within the framework of the festival. The mission of the round table is to assess the current situation with the socio-economic development of the coastal zone and the state of the ecosystems of the Gulf of Finland through the eyes of the participants of the discussion and discuss possible mechanisms for making coordinated decisions with the participation of stakeholders of Leningrad Region and St. Petersburg for the sustainable development of the Gulf of Finland region.
