«The Center for Strategic Research» has prepared three events that will take place on the first day of the Strategic Forum - on October 25.

Round Table «INVESTMENT GROWTH THROUGH INTERREGIONAL INTERACTION MECHANISMS». As part of the discussion, experts will discuss the following issues: interregional cooperation and participation in joint investment projects, infrastructure and product markets of separate territories and their potential specialization,cooperative clustering of the development of an innovative economy and industrialization in general; theory and practice of interaction between Russian regions and the world to attract investments and for economic growth.

Round Table «URBAN AREAS AND MACROREGIONS: NEW SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT CHALLENGES AND A SEARCH FOR BALANCE IN STRATEGIC PLANNING». The focus of the discussion is the need of regulatory and organizational control of supra-territorial entities, the balance of government bodies’ interests at different levels, the use of international experience and new horizons of Russian governance, as well as the choice of priority management models, the relationship of regional and local self-government in management structures.

Round Table «REGIONAL EXPERIENCE IN ATTRACTING INVESTMENT IN TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE». In order to achieve investment growth of 70% by 2030, it is necessary to revise the policy towards the development of financial markets. Experts will discuss problems faced by the constituent entities of the Russian Federation when attracting investments in transport infrastructure facilities, as well as regional proposals for improving work at the federal level. In addition, attention will be paid to simplifying the access of the population to investment products and increasing the availability of investment financing for SMEs.
